From Event Sponsor:
2026 March for Babies walk will be held at Roosevelt Park on Saturday, June 13 from 8 a.m. - Noon. The event is open to the public and we invite your Train Station Block Club members, families, friends, and community residents to attend this fun and festive event.
March for Babies features a walk around the park (as many times as people would like to repeat), food trucks (Los Dos Amigos Tacos and the Egg Roll Diva have been invited), face painting, mini golf, education and advocacy, line dancing, and more. We celebrate healthy babies, NICU grads, babies on-the-way, or still just a thought. Wayne State University’s Mobile Health Unit will also be on-site to offer preventive healthcare, screenings, and resources. Leashed pets are even invited to compete in our (best dressed) Purple Pet Contest. More information is available at www.marchforbabies.org/event/metrodetroit.
The U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color. United by our shared passion for helping families, we rally through the highs and lows of pregnancy and parenting at every point of the journey. March for Babies unites people with diverse backgrounds to create change, give hope and take action for all families by raising critical funds for March of Dimes.
