I hope that you have found ways to enjoy the many snowfalls we've experienced in the last few months! Your Block Club Officers (Danielle, Nikki, Tanya and Thomas) are working hard to make this club a hub for information and to provide ways to connect to each other. Since meetings only happen quarterly (mark your calendars for the next meeting on April 16th at 6PM at the Maltese Club) there is a lot of time in between to be sharing ideas and progressing toward the goal of making our neighborhood a great place to live.
Upcoming event: Corktown Races & St Patrick’s Day Parade
Please note that the entire Corktown neighborhood will host the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Corktown Races on March 16 and traffic patterns will be affected as a result. See the route.
The Annual Michigan Ave/Church Street Grant program will likely open back up in the spring and be ready to support projects that start in the fall. If you have an idea that reaches the Hubbard Richard, Historic Corktown and North Corktown neighborhoods, please send an idea to Danielle (danielle.manley@gmail.com) so that we can prepare for the grant application.
